The songs written for this album, ultimately one for every week in the calendar year, represent the changing temperatures, attitudes, moods, and ideas experienced as I have navagated the varying wonders of the passing seasons. When I set out to create this album I had been writing songs for twenty years. I wanted to finally express, through song, all of the passions of my soul. I didn't want to be bound by any one type or style of music. Instead, i sought only to set free my imagination and to trust that my heart would find cause to guide me. "seasons" was written, recorded and mixed at my apartment on the lower East side of Vancouver, Canada. all Acoustic Guitars, mandolins, Drums, Pianos, synths, shakers, tamborines, and voices were performed by me as I tried to capture the essence of what each song was trying to express. I am grateful for My good friend, Keith Trusler, who helped me by lending his great talents on bass to the majority of the album as well as lending his lead guitar talents towards the songs on the "Autumn" record. The film component of this project was conceived to be a visual representation of life's journey from the re-awakening of the spirit to the death of the body. I wanted to add something that would not only reflect my passion for films but that would also enhance the complete album experience and encourage people interested in my approach to find something worth cherishing in purchasing the physical copy of my creation. The film would never have been possible were it not for the beautiful talents and extreme commitment of Lee Baran who co-wrote, directed, edited and co-produced My story. along with our amazing team of Aviishek Shovakar, Jory Tetting and Adrian Taverner We set out into the beautiful landscapes of British Columbia and developed a beautiful visceral representation of 'seasons". I could not be happier with what we created together and could never thank any of them enough. some of the songs you will hear on "seasons" I have carried on my soul for quite some time seeking to find a place to rest them. others, like many on the summer record, were born in a moment or based only on the faintest of ideas. i have desired for most of my life to create "just one great album." And while the 2 records I wrote and recorded with the next t-shirt were wonderful acheivements, I'm proud to say that I have poured every ounce of my being into "seasons" and my spirit now seems a little more at ease. I believe this is the album I was born to make. I hope that you will experience your own greatest desire in this lifetime and that when you do, these "seasons" might bear witness. from here to there, sv

I wrote, recorded, produced and designed the album entirely myself along with this website. I am proud of what I was able to acheive and hope to continue to push the limits of my art even further. The songs on the following pages may take a few extra minutes to load up but I hope you will find them worth the wait. because this project was completely independent, The $30 you pay for this record will directly help me to continue my dream of spreading hope, change and love throughout this world.
